How to plan a sourcing trip

  1. Pick your sales the night before. Most finders let you filter by date and distance.
  2. Know what you are looking for. Check what we buy and our current interest.
  3. Go early and bring cash. The best items go first, and small bills make negotiating easier.
  4. Look past the tables. Ask about collections, boxes in the garage and anything not put out yet.
  5. Inspect before you pay. Use the condition guide - check packaging edges, accessories and markings.
  6. Photograph what you find. Clear photos of the item, its labels and any flaws make a quote fast.
